Well, this is pretty much the best news ever! Sabrina Carpenter and Liza Koshy will be costarring in a dance-themed comedy flick called Work It, and guys, they’re truly the duo we never knew we needed in our lives.
To be completely honest, we never thought we’d see the day that the former Disney Channel star would work with the YouTube sensation on a movie, but now that it’s actually happening, we’re so here for it. And even though we don’t have a lot of information about the film at all, we already know there’s a ton to be excited for.
For starters, the upcoming flick is going to be produced by none other than Alicia Keys (yeah, you know the one). And if you’re not shook by that crazy fact, you’ll be stunned when we tell you which other familiar face will be joining the cast.
That’s right, you guys! Kieynan Lonsdale has also been chosen for the movie, which means STXfilms and Alloy Entertainment, the companies behind the film, have put together an absolutely sensational cast. But let’s be real: Did you expect anything less?
So what do we know about the characters? TBH, not much. According to Variety, however, Sabrina will play “an awkward teenager who, after being rejected from her high school’s dance team, assembles a crew of misfits to compete against them in a national dance championship.” YAS, QUEEN!
In terms of what else we can expect from the movie, well, there’s not much else out there at this point. But like you, we haven’t been this excited for a movie to come out for years, so we’ll be keeping a close eye out for more details. After all, it’s a Sabrina Carpenter and Liza Koshy dance flick! We mean, how could we EVER miss it?
