No freaking way YOU GUYS…it's been a whole 9 years since the first episode of Wizards of Waverly Place premiered on the Disney Channel and the cast has changed so much since then!

Not only do they look different but they have also gone on to pursue other career milestones such a producing music albums, directing, getting into relationships and much more! But, there's no doubt about it that today marks a special place in their hearts.

Jake T. Austin posted the cast photo on Instagram with the caption, "Wow! It's hard to believe that Wizards premiered 9 years ago today. Thank you guys for making every year magical! #9yearsofwizards ?."

Selena Gomez

Since her days on the show, Selena has starred in several movies like Spring Breakers, Rudderless, and Getaway. However, her main focus seems to be on her music and friends! She is an OG member of Taylor Swift's coveted squad and recently released her newest album, REVIVAL.

The starlet started her REVIVAL tour only to have to stop in the middle and check herself into rehab to deal with her ongoing struggle with Lupus. Sel confirmed last year that she has been dealing with this disease for quite some time and fans are always rooting for her.

After Jake made the Disney Channel audience fall in love with him he moved on to play a role in the hit Freeform series, The Fosters.

He also dipped his toes into the voice-over world as he provided his vocals for the DC Comics animated film, Justice League vs. Teen Titans. Most recently, you can find Jake wearing his dancing shoes while he competes on the 23rd season of Dancing With the Stars.

In his personal life, Jake shocked the world when he announced that he was dating a fan – Danielle Caesar.

David Henrie

David definitely did not leave the acting world after Wizards wrapped. He can be seen alongside Taylor Lautner and Adam Sandler in the movie Grown Ups 2. He played the lead role in, 1000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story as well as guest starring in the ABC series Mind Games.

He was in a number of short films and in 2015 was casted to play a young Ronald Reagan in the biopic called, Reagan. There is no stopping this guy now!

Jennifer Stone

Jennifer has worked on numerous projects including Phineas and Ferb and Deadtime Stories and several films like Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars, Nothing Left to Fear, High School Possession.

She has also participated in the charity, Project Mermaid, where she modeled and posed in a beautiful mermaid-like outfit.

Maria Canals-Barrera

Maria is a Disney Channel regular! Not only did she make appearances in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 but she also was the voice of a character on The Proud Family before her days on WoWP.

She played a role on the then ABC comedy series, Cristela. She also was a guest star on the show Baby Daddy however she has also put a lot of her energy into her personal life and family.

David DeLuise

While on the show, David actually directed a few episodes which led him to discover this passion of his. After Wizards wrapped, he went on to direct a few episodes of, How to Rock, See Dad Run, Lab Rats and The Thundermans.

He also played a role in David Henrie's film Catch and appeared in a KFC commercial.

David was divorced before WoWP started but he has two daughters from that relationship. He currently is not dating anyone publicly.

Gregg Sulkin

Well, it's clear Gregg has grown up a lot! Since his Wizards days, he starred in a few episodes of Pretty Little Liars. He also starred in MTV's hit show, Faking It.

Gregg was in a long term relationship with Bella Thorne for just about a year until the pair broke up a few months ago. After their break up it was announced that these two will be working on a film together and we're so excited to see it!

Bridgit Mendler

Bridgit was so well-liked during her time on the show that she actually got her own series on the Disney Channel afterwards – Good Luck Charlie which last for 4 seasons.

She released her first album, went on tour, studied at the University of Southern California and then went on to star in a role for the NBC series Undateable. In 2016, she announced her second album and was casted for her reoccurring role on the show Nashville.

Bridgit started dating her Good Luck Charlie co-star Shane Harper in 2012 but they sadly ended their relationship in 2015.

Dan hasn't done much acting since his days on the Disney Channel but he recently starred in a family adventure film titled, Hanna's Gold. Not only that but he loves working out and regularly documents his life on social media.
