Carter Mason and Princess Rosalinda are slaying the world together again. This reunion back in October of 2017 was the one we had ALL been waiting for comes on the heels of their recent public lovefests for each other and their work. Demi recently shared some stunning pics of herself having a grand old time on vacation and naturally, Sel left a comment letting her longtime bud know she thinks Demi looks fabulous since well, she does. "FIRE" is the one word Selena wrote and we're over here like same.

Although Selena recently purged her Instagram and unfollowed a ton of people including Demi, that doesn't mean these two can't keep on showing love for each other via social media. Let us not forget how when Demi dropped her very raw and real documentary Simply Complicated and she shared a snippet of it on her Instagram account, that's where Sel decided to leave a few kind words to Demi. Sel basically let her longtime pal know she watched the doc and was nothing but inspired. "This was beautiful. I'm so happy for you. You always continue to [be] bold and real. I wish more people were like you. Love you," Selena commented.

Girl literally got us right in the feels. And Demi responded back to her former Princess Protection Program co-star and let Sel know she appreciated the public lovefest. "thank you so much, this mean the world to me and more. Love you too," she wrote along with a few emojis.

Yep, crying over here. Back in July of 2017, Demi took to Twitter publicly reigniting the spark in the girls' on-and-off again friendship that so many of us have become emotionally invested in over the years. Demi sent Sel a congratulatory message in honor of her single, "Fetish."

"@selenagomez Loving your new song Fetish, we've come a long way since our Barney days πŸ˜πŸ’—," Demi wrote.

The Barney & Friends days. Let's take a moment.

And yes, Selena made us all even happier by sending her longtime bud a reply message, telling her she's a fan of Demi's tune, "Sorry Not Sorry".

Demi and Selena were super close for years, both ending up starring in hit Disney Chanel series at the same time, and even filming their own DCOM together giving us the legendary duet that is "One In the Same." When Demi went through her rough patch in her personal life and checked into rehab when she was 18 years old, she later revealed that Selena was one of the very few people to reach out and call her during that time, along with Nick Jonas.

"Selena ... she called me crying when I was in there and was just so worried. I was like, 'Look, I should be the one crying, it’s all good!' But she was so worried and ever since then we've gotten closer," Demi once shared in an interview with Televisonet in 2013.

They were practically like sisters these two, the definition of #FriendshipGoals.

But for various reasons, the friendship became strained. From the iconic moment when a reporter asked Demi how Selena was doing and she snarkily said, "Ask Taylor," referring to Sel's then newfound BFF Taylor Swift, to plenty of times when they have said they have since just grown apart and aren't really close anymore. It was a sad time for us all, breaking our Delena BFF-loving hearts. But then, the great reunion of 2015 happened. The girls met up and graced us all with this now ~iconic~ selfie.

"Look at how #coolforthesummer we are.. Friends for years, #sameoldlove πŸ‘―πŸ‘πŸ’•," Demi wrote in the caption.

After they both shared this sweet snap, Selena spoke about their catch-up session and went on to say there is nothing but love and respect between them.

"We went to a dinner, I think it was two weeks ago. We were at the dinner, we were talking about her record, my record, just kind of catching up. I love her. She's like family at this point. It's just nice to be able to see people that you grew up with succeed," Selena said to Entertainment Tonight.

This was also around the time Selena took to Twitter to wish Demi a happy birthday and they both expressed how much they'll always mean to each other.

But this was nearly two years ago and since then, the public love-fest had died down between them unitl recently. There were chances for the two to publicly hang in the past that just didn't happen. Like when everyone was hoping we would get some sort of reunion when they both attended We Day California 2017. But alas, it seems like these two did not cross paths at all, instead each posing with Miss Piggy.

Literally not even an iconic Muppet could bring them back together. And both starlets were on hand at the One Voice: Somos Live! A Concert For Disaster Relief & Telethon and didn't seem to hang out either. But that's all water under the bridge and all of these new tweets and Instagram comments are steps in the right direction. The girls have been known to let the world know how proud they are of each other's music too over the years. Selena was a huge fan of Demi's album, Unbroken.

And her single "Heart Attack."

Plus, Demi once shared her love for the Gomez classic that is "Come & Get It."

So basically, these two will forever be connected and although they might not spend as much time hanging out as they once did, they're still slaying together, supporting each other no matter what. Always.
