Sorry, boys! Selena Gomez is too busy focusing on herself to have time for a relationship right now. Sources close to the singer just revealed to Us Weekly that, since she’s returned from rehab, her priority is her health. We are so proud of her!
“Selena is focusing on her mental health and has been reading, exercising, eating well and spending time with her close friends and family,” the insider explained. “She isn’t necessarily looking to date right now.”
Seeing the “Bad Liar” songstress so strong on her own is seriously inspiring, isn’t it?
“[She’s] paying most of her attention to her own well-being and doesn’t want that infringed upon,” they continued. “She’s great and in a really good place.”
Wow, we love seeing her so happy and healthy. As J-14 readers know, the singer checked herself into a rehabilitation facility last October to focus on her mental health issues, and it unfortunately wasn’t the first time. Selena’s had a long road to recovery and has been pretty open about her struggles with anxiety and depression along the way.
But the brunette beauty seems to be better than ever now. She was spotted back in L.A. in December, and the Wizards Of Waverly Place star even returned to Instagram last month after a four-month break.
“Last year was definitely a year of self-reflection, challenges and growth,” she wrote. “It’s always those challenges which show you who you are and what you are capable of overcoming. Trust me, it’s not easy, but I am proud of the person I am becoming and look forward to the year ahead. Love you all.”
Since then, Selena has even gotten back in the studio. She released a new song, titled “Anxiety,” with Julia Michaels, and not only was it a total bop, but it was super emotional and honest. Not to mention — there’s rumors of a collab coming from her and Benny Blanco. If there’s one thing that’s for certain, you guys, it’s that 2019 is definitely going to be an amazing year for her.
