Selena Gomez Praises Justin Bieber's One Love Manchester Song

Jelena returns and we’ve seriously got all the feels!

It’s quite apparent that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber didn’t have the greatest relationship. They were on and off for years. There were accusations that Justin cheated and she even recently called him out last year on social media when he was flaunting his new relationship with Sofia Richie. Obviously, everyone thought she was jealous of it all and couldn’t handle seeing him with another girl.

But, it seems like time really does heal all wounds because Selena just praised Justin over his performance at the One Love Manchester concert and we’re seriously freaking out over it.

The “Hands to Myself” singer hung out at the SiriusXM studio in New York City and said, “It was beautiful. Everyone did such a beautiful job. It was so gorgeous. I love how [Ariana Grande] ended it. I thought Justin did great. It was really beautiful…That’s what I hope everybody can take away…that we’re not going to live in fear. That we refuse to.”

Shippers have been wondering for basically years if there is still bad blood between these two. It looks like we’ve finally got the answer. This shows just how mature Sel has gotten after taking some time off, taking the time to work on her mental and physical health and getting into a loving, normal relationship. This proves how comfortable she is in her own skin. Selena can give Justin a compliment without having to worry about fans wondering if they are together or not because she’s got The Weeknd.

To be honest, we don’t even question her for saying it either because she’s right. Justin did do an amazing job at the One Love Manchester concert. He not only performed beautifully but his message was also super powerful. He used everyone in the audience to honor the victims of the attacks with a showing of hands. It was incredibly moving and even Justin himself was brought to tears.

And of course, we weren’t the only ones to notice it. The fact that Selena specifically called him out makes our heart melt. In a time of pushing evil out and letting love in, Justin touched Selena’s heart from miles and miles away.
