Ever since they were caught kissing, the pair has traveled the world together, made their first public appearance at the 2017 MET Gala and are officially Instagram official. These two are getting super serious with each other and now The Weeknd is getting to know Selena's family which is also a huge step in their relationship.
The "Hands to Myself" singer has gone to the "Starboy" singer's performances before to show her support. But, it seems like Selena is now bringing her extended family along! Selena's cousin Priscilla DeLeon posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram before the show and they looked like they were having a blast. Priscilla captioned her shot, "Still got it."
Aw! This is super cute. Not only that but Priscilla also got the backstage VIP treatment. She posted a photo with a drink in her hand, looking super happy and wearing a VIP necklace. Seriously, it pays to be Selena's cousin when she's dating one of the biggest superstars in the world!
As if this entire family affair couldn't get any cuter, it just did! A fan captured a video of Selena, Priscilla and Sel's nephew Aidan dancing during the concert.
OKAY...can the world please nominate Aidan as The Weeknd's tiniest, cutest fan ever?! We're totally loving that Selena and The Weeknd are not only public with their relationship now but are really making an effort to get to know their respective families.
But, a new report is revealing that The Weeknd is getting a bit insecure about Selena coming to so many of his shows. Wait...what?? The source said, "Having Selena at so many of his shows is awesome, but he would be happy if she didn’t go to so many because he doesn’t want her to get sick of his music."
The source continued, "Abel loves seeing Selena immediately after a show in the dressing room. It’s comforting, but he always suggests that maybe she’d have more fun shopping or hanging out with friends than seeing the same show over and over. He just wants to make sure she’s always having a good time — whether it’s at his show or doing something else for the night."
Whoa! We had no idea he felt this way. It's pretty obvious though that he's always looking after her best interests and only wants her to be stress-free and living the carefree life she should. Her family has taken note of it and definitely hopes they stay together in the long run
Selena's mom, Mandy Teefey, commented on a photo of the duo at the MET Gala and gave her seal of approval which obviously means that they have spent some time together. Now, The Weeknd's connection is going beyond Selena's immediate family and it's pretty freaking amazing.
