So who is the lucky lady, you ask? Drum roll please… It’s rumored to be Alessia Cara! Fans are convinced that the two are dating after a mysterious picture hit the web on Tuesday, May 28.
In the snap, a man and a woman who look just like Shawn and Alessia, 22, appear to be getting pretty cozy, if you ask us. But unfortunately, the photo in question is so dark and grainy that you can’t see their faces very clearly. We’re also not sure when it was taken or where it came from, so we definitely can’t say for sure that it’s them in the picture. But we do totally see the similarities!
As fans know, the “Scars to Your Beautiful” singer opened up for the 20-year-old on the European leg of his tour, which means they spent the last few months on the road together! And when they weren’t busy slaying the stage, the rumored couple was spotted spending a lot of time together. Fans snapped pictures of them getting dinner together, exploring the various cities they visited, sight seeing and hanging out backstage. Not to mention that the two popstars were spotted leaving the Met Gala after party together in the beginning of May.
And #Shalessia shippers, get ready because it was just announced that she’ll be joining him for his Canadian and American tour dates in June, July and August! Yep, get ready for a ton more #Shalessia content. Whether, they’re just friends or a couple, it’s clear that they mean a lot to one another and we are seriously LIVING for this relationship.
