Shawn Mendes has us swooning once again. The singer-songwriter headlined Rolling Stone‘s Relaunch Event – hosted by YouTube Music – in Brooklyn, New York last night. And as per usual, he was looking like a thing of pure perfection.
Inside the industrial warehouse where the event took place, Shawn put on an intimate performance for the music influencers and fans in attendance. The cutie really put on a show, performing over a dozen songs – all the hits and more. “In My Blood,” “There’s Nothin Holding Me Back,” “Stitches,” “Treat You Better,” “Mercy,” “Nervous” and “Fallin All In You” were all on the set list.
.@ShawnMendes is exactly the type of person who deserves his celebrity status and handles it to perfection. Just look how talented, happy and GRATEFUL he is up on that stage. Shawn, you’re doing great, sweetie 🤗 @RollingStone #MendesArmy pic.twitter.com/gvvGRBol2X

Fans got a special surprise when he whipped out a very different rendition of “Youth” – no Khalid didn’t make a special appearance to sing it with him. Rather, he sang it – wait for it – without a mic. Proof that this concert was as small as they come. That would never happen in his usual arena shows.
Shawn Mendes singing youth off the mic is the best thing I ever experienced. pic.twitter.com/5T9tEeXEGo

The event was thrown to celebrate Rolling Stone‘s relaunch initiative, and Shawn’s performance was filmed for Live From The Artists Den, an Emmy-nominated series. You know, no big deal. Click through the gallery to see Shawn rockin’ it on the red carpet at the exclusive event.
