Camila Cabello has officially left Fifth Harmony to pursue her dreams of being a solo act, after seeing much success with her first solo project along with Shawn Mendes with their song "I Know What You Did Last Summer." And now after she released her own statement about the situation, the Canadian singer has come to her defense and agreed with her words.

In part of her letter to fans, the ex-5H member said she was leaving the group to pursue the things that made her feel alive and going on a search for experiences that give her purpose. Shawn agreed with the letter, quoting one specific part and retweeting the message writing that it was "beautifully said."

While some fans are being supportive of the Cuban singer's decision, others are telling fan to "stay in his lane."

We are sure that it was not an easy decision to make and are glad to see that Shawn was not afraid to openly express his support for his friend for the world to see. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that.

Do you think it was good for Shawn to tweet this? Tell is in the comments.
