Juggling school with life’s other responsibilities can be extremely tough, but when you’re a celebrity, it’s nearly impossible. We mean, there are only so many hours in a day, and like us, celebs sometimes struggle balancing it all. Take Sofia Carson, for example. The actress has been busy working on Descendants 3 and The Perfectionists, leaving her little to no time to focus on her studies.
In a May 22 interview with Access Live, the 26-year-old opened up about how she’s currently enrolled as a student at UCLA. Unfortunately, though, she’s had to put a pause on taking classes because she’s been so busy with work.
“I’m technically still a Bruin,” she said. “I’m still going to school — still enrolled. Had to take a pause of a second with all of this, but I’m going to graduate maybe when I’m 45. You guys are all invited to the graduation. It’s going to happen.” LOL.
But even though she’s had to take some time off to focus solely on her acting career, that doesn’t mean her education isn’t one of her top priorities in life. In fact, she said it’s part of what makes her who she is!
“It’s such a big part of who I am and education is so important to me,” she revealed.
We’re so glad to hear she still plans on graduating, but sadly, she hasn’t stepped foot on campus in a while. Why? Because her schedule remains booked solid due to The Perfectionists!
When asked if she’d been back to the school since working on the series, Sofia said, “No, not since the show. That’s a good test, though. Maybe I should! When I was doing the first Descendants movies I was still enrolled in school, so I would go in between whenever we weren’t shooting. But I haven’t been back since the show, so that would be interesting to see what would happen.”
