Just a few weeks after Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner welcomed their first baby together, the actress has taken to Instagram to gush over her beau. Yep, in honor of the Jonas Brothers member’s 31st birthday on Saturday, August 15, the blonde beauty shared a sweet tribute for her “baby daddy.”
“Happy birthday to my love/bub/baby daddy,” she captioned an adorable throwback shot of them attending an event together.
For those who missed it, the couple’s rep confirmed the exciting news that they had officially become parents on July 28, 2020.
“Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby,” they said in a statement to Us Weekly.
According to TMZ, they named the little girl Willa, and she was born on July 22, 2020, at a hospital in Los Angeles, CA.
As fans know, news first hit the web that the two stars were expecting a child together back in February 2020. They never spoke out about the pregnancy, but the 24-year-old did show off her growing baby bump a bunch of times over the last few months!
And get this, you guys — according to Life & Style, the singer treated his wife like royalty during her pregnancy. Sources told the magazine that the musician did everything he could to make sure Sophie felt as comfortable as possible — how cute is that?!
“He’s always treated Sophie like a princess, moreso now than ever before — romantic trips away, pampering sessions and when she’s feeling tired, he’ll take charge of the grocery shopping and run errands,” the insider dished. “As it’s all new to Sophie, she’s slightly nervous about the birth and how she’ll cope balancing work with motherhood, but Joe’s putting her mind at ease. He’s very caring like that.”
On August 7, 2020, the new parents broke their social media silence and shared their first photo together since giving birth. Taking to his Instagram Stories, the “Sucker” crooner posted a selfie of him and the Game of Thrones star, using the Vogue filter to make the image look like a magazine cover. Both of them held up a peace sign as they starred into the camera.
“Wear a mask,” he wrote. “That’s the tea.”
They have yet to share a photo of the newborn, but we hope they do soon!
