Don’t expect Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas to be running down the aisle ASAP. The Game of Thrones actress and DNCE frontman, who got engaged in October, seem to be enjoying life as an engaged couple – as Sophie’s TV sister Maisie Williams confirmed that they are not in huge rush to plan their wedding right away. How does she know? Well, she’s been asked to be a bridesmaid. How sweet!
Maisie told Radio Times that the lovebirds’ wedding plans are being put on hold while Game of Thrones Season 8 is being filmed – but after that, it’s planning time. And when they asked if she would be in the bridal party, she replied, “Oh, already got it.”
“We’re waiting until the season is done until we get into any of that, but I think she’s already letting her little heart wander and imagine,” Maisie said.
When Joe popped the question to Sophie, Maisie was quick to post a big congratulations to her co-star on social media. “Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend on her engagement ? This is just one of MANY life milestones we’ll share. Love you both ? #mophie #jophie #holymoly,” she wrote alongside the widely-spread professional photo of Sophie hand and hand with Joe, showing off her dazzling engagement ring.
WHAT. A. ROCK. As for who else will be in the wedding party, we do not know. However, we think it’s safe to say Nick, Kevin and Frankie Jonas are shoo-ins for groomsmen. We’re just wondering how Joe could ever pick a best man with all those brothers. Only time will tell, we suppose.
