Oops! There was a seriously awkward moment between Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks during the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday, March 29. Get this, you guys — Stevie accidentally referred to the “Sign Of the Times” crooner as a member of ‘NSync rather than One Direction! LOL. Yikes.

The iconic Fleetwood Mac singer was being honored for becoming the first woman to be inducted twice, and the 1D heartthrob took the stage in New York City to introduce her. The two even sang a duet of her song “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” and boy, was it epic. But afterwards, the 70-year-old was gushing over Harry to the press, and that’s when she made the hilarious mistake.

“What I really loved about Harry was that when he decided to make a solo record from ‘NSync,” she said. “Sorry, not ‘NSync. Sorry, I’m never gonna to live that one down, I know that. One Direction. I liked One Direction, too.”

“Anyway, when Harry decided to make a record he could have gone one of two ways,” she continued. “He could have made a really serious pop record, which would have been much less of a risk. Or he could make a rock and roll record, and take a risk. And he did. And I went to the Troubadour on one of the first nights [of his tour] and he actually played songs from that record, and I went like, ‘This beautiful child should have been born in 1948 too because he just fits in with all of us.'”

Awww, how sweet is that? As fans know, Stevie has referred to the Dunkirk actor as the “son she never had” in the past.

“He’s Mick [Fleetwood]’s and my love child,” she told Rolling Stone back in February. “When Harry came into our lives, I said, ‘Oh my God, this is the son I never had.’ So I adopted him. I love Harry.”

The One Direction singer has been pretty open about the fact that he’s a huge Fleetwood Mac fan over the years. We mean, he’s gone to their concerts, rocked a Fleetwood Mac shirt more than once and he even covered their song “The Chain” during his tour.

It’s OK Stevie, we all make mistakes!
