UPDATE: August 25, 2017 at 9:00am ET

Taylor Swift has officially announced that she’s dropping a new album on November 10th titled, Reputation — and just moments ago, the songstress released her first song titled, “Look What You Made Me Do.” Listen here:

She’s been teasing new music all week with cryptic snake videos and now Swifties finally have all the answers. Leading up to the song release, she posted a series of photos on Twitter and Instagram which not only dropped the date but also the cover art for the album.

Good things are coming, we can just feel it. Taylor looks edgier than ever and we have a feeling we’re about to see a whole other side to the songstress. And, just think about it, she’s got major tea to spill in this album, between her relationship with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, her court case, the Kanye West drama and Katy Perry – this is going to be freaking epic. She also announced that she will be releasing two Reputation magazines, which will be released exclusively in Target on November 10, 2017.

Taylor will be releasing the music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. She released a trailer for it on Instagram. Anyone else getting “Blank Space” vibes?

For the past year, Taylor Swift has gone completely under the radar. After finishing up her 1989 world tour, fans have been anxiously awaiting new music from the songstress. Taylor’s radio silence has got people talking and everyone thinks she’s about to release new music, like very soon. Not only do they think an album is coming, but there’s an insane theory that it will be called Eclipse. And yes, we know what you’re thinking – what a weird reference to the Twilight saga. How could the world ever forget Taylor dated Twilight star, Taylor Lautner? Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble here, but there’s probably only like a .5 percent chance that if she does title her new album, Eclipse, that it will be about boy Taylor at all. Can you IMAGINE the headlines? There’s no way Taylor would subject herself to that.

But, regardless, the theory is pressing on. Let’s get down to the facts. Why does everyone think the album is going to be called Eclipse? Apparently, there’s a lot of clues. The craziest part about all this is that the theory is going viral on the day that lots of people around the country will see a partial or total eclipse. An eclipse is where the moon moves in over the sun cause a few minutes of darkness during the day.

First things first. Taylor cleared out her Instagram and Twitter accounts last week causing a social media blackout. This “blackout” could reference the eclipse darkness. Today, she put up a short clip on both of her social media pages of a snake slithering around. There was no caption and everyone thinks it means new music is coming. The fact that she posted this today, of all days, may not be a coincidence.

Buzzfeed is reporting a few reasons why fans think Elicpse is totally Taylor’s album name. First, an eclipse happens usually once in a lifetime, which is what fans think this album will be like. Supposedly, an eclipse symbolizes a new beginning which could definitely resonate in Taylor’s life now as she just won a huge court case over a DJ who groped her during a meet and greet a few years ago. Eclipses are emotional events, which could be exactly what this album will do to people. You know, bring out all the feels. AND the weirdest thing is that all of her color schemes on Tumblr are space-related. Buzzfeed was quick to point out that she’s been using this color scheme since 2015, but we digress.

If you want even more evidence, fans think Scott Borchetta – the founder of her record label – is hinting at this Eclipse title, too. He posted a photo with a clock on it and the time on the clock is 2:50 pm. This is the exact time at the eclipse will be the most visible in New York City. Yes, we’re SHOOK over that one.

What’s even weirder is that Joseph Kahn, the mastermind behind some of Taylor’s most successful music videos like “Bad Blood” and “Blank Space” is actually playing along with the Eclipse album theory. He tweeted a few things that are V questionable and obviously caused an even greater uproar in the fandom.

joseph kahn tweets

Well played, Joseph. Well played.

Fans also think she’s been hinting at this whole stars and space theory for months. She was seen wearing temporary star tattoos, a guitar she uses has stars on it and she decorated Lorde’s birthday card with stars. The whole thing is truly wild. One thing is for sure, Taylor’s got something up her sleeve and we have a feeling it’s going to be mega. As for the timeline of when this new music or album is set to drop, that’s still unclear.

But, if it does happen today, around the time of the eclipse, we are going to be thoroughly freaked out. We’ll be on the lookout for sure.
