The Vamps' are heading out on tour in a week, and they've been busy promoting their upcoming single, "I Found a Girl." The song is about falling in love with a girl who isn't interested in guys. (The lyrics go, "I found a girl, who's in love with a girl. She said that she tried, but she's not into guys.") Turns out, the track is based on a real-life experience that happened to one of the band members!

“It’s a concept that happened to one of us but we embellished it and exaggerated it in the song. It was never a relationship where she went off with anyone or anything. "We're not saying that there's anything wrong with it. That's where I would think someone was being inappropriate, if they were saying that and that it's bad. For us it was just a bit of fun. It's a funny thing for us and we're not trying to be controversial and say that it's wrong. We're just finding it funny that it happened to one of us."
