Even though it's hard to believe that The Vamps' Tristan Evans was once a normal kid who went to school and wasn't touring around the world, the drummer EXCLUSIVELY opened up to us about what he was really like as a student.

While talking about the group's contest with Walmart, in which you can win a private concert at your school by sharing school supply lists with your friends using the hashtag #RocktheSavingsPromotion, he revealed that he actually got in trouble for singing in class!

"I was a normal kid, but with my music. My concentration wasn’t that good at all but I really loved extracurriculars in school. It was good," he said.

"[I got in trouble] a couple of times. Yeah, [for] like detentions and stuff. Nothing major, but detentions [for being] late and talking out of turn, singing to other people, stuff like that. I couldn’t be quiet."

Little did he know, he'd be performing in stadiums after graduating! Pretty crazy, right?

Update: The winning school has been announced! The free concert will take place on Monday, September 21 at the Walmart Supercenter in Tampa, FL.
