And so the saga continues. The Weeknd and Bella Hadid's social media, or should we say their Instagram relationship, is officially over. Of course, everyone knows that once a former celeb couple stops following each other on the gram, it's over for good!
However, fans aren't just noticing that The Weeknd isn't following the supermodel any longer but his new girlfriend Selena Gomez isn't either. While Selena may have stopped following Bella awhile ago and vice versa, this news is big because The Weeknd has cut her off now too. To be honest, it's not super shocking that he unfollowed her. The pair has been broken up for quite some time now and it's only natural to not want to see what your ex-girlfriend is doing.

Especially if your ex-girlfriend is a super hot model doing super hot model things on social media.
It was actually the Instagram fan account, jelenasenergy, that noticed all of this unfollowing. They posted this picture with the caption, "Abel unfollowed Bella on Instagram and so did his whole crew // @turntdallas."
We're not exactly sure who his whole crew is that cut Bella out of their social media feeds as well, but it seems like The Weeknd's friends are sticking by his side.
Selena and The Weeknd have been hot and heavy for weeks now and we can't imagine she'd be super happy with him liking his ex-girlfriend's photos. Can you imagine the headlines that would be written about him if that happened? By unfollowing, The Weeknd and his gang of buddies can avoid the drama.

Some fans are not happy about the recent change in The Weeknd's social activity, though. Someone commented on the photo and wrote, "bella ): it was her first love ):):):." Another wrote, "He probably expected her to unfollow way back in January but she took the high road and didn't unfollow him and he didn't unfollow to spare her feelings. Now he is in a committed relationship with Selena and is being loyal to her."
And one fan was super confused stating the obvious question, "Why did he wait for so long to unfollow her??"
It looks like this was the final way The Weeknd was going to show the world that his break-up with Bella is permanent. Selena is here to stay!
