Camila Cabello left Fifth Harmony at the end of the 2016 and now only a few months later, the group is on to bigger and better things. No really, Ally Brooke Hernandez actually admitted that 5H is able to do things now that they could never have before!
During a pre-Grammy party, the songstress said, "We’re in the studio, working really, really hard. We’re able to write more on this album. For the first time, we’re having a lot of creative control and input, and that is something we are so, so excited about. We’re very happy to be in control of it and to have our voices really on it through the lyrics, through the writing, [which is] something we’ve never really been able to do before as a group."
Wow! Not only should this make Harmonizers super excited for the girls' upcoming album, but it also shows that there have been a lot of changes since Camila walked out. After years of not being able to have this creative control, it's amazing to see that when something negative happens there's always a positive door that opens.
We can't help but wonder if this also means that the girls might have more solo time during their tracks as well. Of course, Ally didn't speak on that, but she did say enough to give fans a glimpse of what the group has been working on. Not only that but she also gave a shoutout to the band on Instagram. Could she have been throwing a bit of shade?
Ally posted this photo on social media with the caption, "I love you girls ❤."
Aww! Subtle, yet this caption says everything it needs to say without saying anything at all. The foursome is EVERYTHING.
The girls and Camila went through some rough patches every since she left. There was some not-so-subtle shade thrown and Camila recently said she hasn't spoken to any of the girls since she left. It's pretty devastating to hear. But, clearly, 5H is stepping out on their own, working harder than they ever have and giving their fans exactly what they want.
