On Saturday, August 22, TikTok star Tony Lopez took to Twitter and apologized following recent accusations that he sexually harassed minors.

“I am not proud of my past choices and actions I have made, and I am truly disappointed in myself for them,” the 21-year-old Hype House member wrote. “I know these actions are not taken lightly and were extremely irresponsible of me. As a young man, I will hold myself responsible for this mistake rather than run from it. I will learn from it to help better educate myself for now and in the future. I promise I will make better, well-informed decisions.”

For those who missed it, Tony’s apology came weeks after he was accused of “sexually harassing” a 15-year-old girl. According to the now-viral posts, the alleged victim shared screenshots of their interactions via Snapchat and Instagram direct messages.

The alleged messages showed the influencer sending messages to the girl — who claimed she was “15 at the time” — and calling her “mine” and “my baby.” According to the Twitter post, which has thousands of likes and retweets, the alleged victim claimed the influencer was “preying on her.” A TikTok video with additional accusations against Tony was also posted in a Twitter thread, following the initial allegations. This accuser alleged that Tony had “never asked” for her age, but did request “nudes.”

Since these claims hit the web, some fans have replied to Tony’s social media posts with links to the TikTok and asked for an explanation. One user claimed that he “has been hiding this video from his replies.”

Instagram account TikTok Room has also shared a series of accusations from a girl named Cay, who was also 15 at the time of her alleged interactions with Tony.

“I guess it never clicked in his head that I was not 20 years old,” the alleged victim wrote alongside screenshots of their apparent Snapchat conversations. “But as you can see here he continued to say s**t knowing that I wasn’t of age.”

She continued, “He would snap me every day at random times just to say some s**t to me [about] wanting to f**k or [just] some weird s**t. I would go along [with] it just to build a ‘case’ against him [because] I knew he was sus.”

Neither Tony nor the Hype House responded to J-14‘s request for comment following the accusations.
