Prepare yourselves, people, because two Twilight stars just had a mini-reunion and we’re seriously freaking out! Yep, Nikki Reed and Peter Facinelli — who fans know better as Rosalie Hale and Carlisle Cullen — recently teamed up for an Instagram Live, and they shared some pretty major behind-the-scenes secrets about their time on the fan-favorite movie set.
“My favorite daughter!” Peter gushed when Nikki joined the live stream. “I wrote to Nikki today and I said, ‘You’re my favorite daughter. Don’t tell the others. You’re my favorite child.'”
He added, “So whoever’s on this live chat, don’t tell the rest of the Cullens that she’s my favorite.”
After discussing Peter’s new horror film The Vanished, the former costars experienced some major nostalgia and looked back making the vampire movies together.
“We’ve all seen each other go through how many different chapters of life now? It’s pretty wild,” Nikki said. “When you started the first Twilight I think [your daughter] Fiona was 2 or 3. Now I have a 3-year-old. It makes me feel so emotional actually because I don’t even know how to put into words what it feels like to look back at life and go, ‘Now I see different chapters in life.'”
Then, Peter suggested they get all the Cullens back for an official Twilight reunion, which is something we’re SO here for!
As fans know, this mini-reunion came just days after Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke told Entertainment Tonight that it would be “fun” and “fascinating” to get the original cast back together for a Midnight Sun movie. For those who missed it, the new book, will tell the same story as the first Twilight, but from Edward’s point of view instead of Bella’s. Naturally, fans are wondering if they’re going to turn it into a movie just like the rest of the young adult novels.
“Rob is Batman now… And Kristen is in a million beautiful projects,” she told the publication. “Who knows what would happen.”
