Happy National Donut Day!
To celebrate this delicious day that only comes once a year (but like, we pretty much celebrate donuts every day), we decided to create our own beautiful concoctions that all unicorn and mermaid lovers will legit be obsessed with. Introducing the (drumroll please!) glitter donuts!
With blue, green, purple, and pink edible glitter we created the most sparkly donuts you've ever laid eyes on. Check out the video below to watch us make unicorn, mermaid, rainbow, and galaxy pastries.
Want to create your own glitter donuts? All you need is butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk to make the glaze — and then lots and lots of edible glitter (best thing ever invented if you ask us!)

What you need:
Donuts (we used plain glazed donuts)
2 Tablespoons of butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons milk
Edible glitter
Melt the butter and combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Stir them up, and then put the glaze on your donuts with a pastry brush. Then go to town with the glitter! Don't forget to snap pics of your beautiful concoctions and show them off to the world.
