The wedding bells will be ringing soon enough for Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler! While the stars are not engaged quite yet, the actress did reveal marriage and kids are most definitely in their future. During an interview on the podcast Stav, Abby & Matt, one of the hosts acknowledged that fans are hoping Austin proposes to Vanessa on her 30th birthday – and V weighed in.
“Poor guy, poor guy. I mean, he gets to be with me – not poor guy! What are you saying,” she said. “Obviously everyone’s place in life where they feel like that is appropriate is different. I’m coming up on seven years with Austin, and I just know that I’m so happy, and he’s like such an amazing partner, and I’m just like so grateful to not have to be in the dating scene.”
The 29-year-old actress explained during the podcast that she’s planning a Lord of the Rings themed party for her milestone birthday on Dec. 14. As for the wedding theme? “Maybe Game of Thrones,” she laughed. “People do Game of Thrones weddings! They look so epic. Everyone comes in full costumes.”
This wasn’t the first time Vanessa talked marriage! The star recently opened up about her desire for marriage and kids to Women’s Health magazine.
“I want to get married, travel, then have kids,” she said in the interview. “Everyone’s clock is different.”
Vanessa went on to gush about just how perfect things are with her 27-year-old bae, and we’re swooning.
“He inspires me more than anyone,” V said about her future husband. “We both respect, trust, and admire each other. It’s so solid now because I feel strong as an independent woman. I am very self-reliant, but it’s nice to have a best friend you can share victories with as well as losses.”
Looks like these two are lovebirds for life!
