It looks like Vanessa Hudgens has moved on from her ex-boyfriend Austin Butler! The actress was caught cheering on her rumored new man, NBA star Kyle Kuzma, during the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, January 22.
During the basketball game, the 31-year-old actress took to social media and posted moments from the game on her Instagram Stories.
“LEGOOOOO [Lakers],” she captioned a video clip of the game she took from the crowd.
She also posted a series of selfies from the game to her Instagram account. In the photos, the actress was smiling and laughing alongside director and friend Eamon O’Rourke.
“I mean we did our best to take a good pic. Lol,” she captioned the photos, tagging both Eamon and the Lakers.
Vanessa’s attendance at the basketball game came just one day after she was spotted on what appeared to be a date with Kyle. On Tuesday, January 21, the rumored couple had an intimate dinner at an Italian restaurant called Lilia in Brooklyn, New York. They smiled and laughed while enjoying their meal, a source said at the time.
Previous to their romantic outing, Vanessa and Kyle were caught being flirty on social media. The 24-year-old basketball star shared a snap of himself on the basketball court to Instagram on Monday, January 20, which he captioned, “Yeaaaa we like thattttt,” with the sunglasses emoji. But it was the High School Musical star’s response that caught fans’ attention. She replied, “Ya we doooo,” and the internet quickly went into a frenzy.
Vanessa’s rumored relationship with Kyle started just one week after an insider confirmed to Us Weekly on January 14, 2020, that the actress had split from her boyfriend Austin after almost nine years together. According to E! News, it was long distance that ultimately caused them to go their separate ways. An insider told them, “They’re just shooting on two different continents and it’s a matter of distance. There is no bad blood at all, and they have a lot of respect for each other.”
