Vanessa Hudgens is giving us all the throwback vibes by bringing back her early hits! The Disney Channel alum was catapulted into teenage stardom in 2006 after her breakout role as Gabriella Montez in High School Musical. That same year, she even put out her first studio album, V. Those early years were quite a whirlwind of success! Now, she’s bringing back her two singles from her debut album in a seriously nostalgic way. Yep, that’s right. We’re talkin’ “Say OK” and “Come Back To Me.” Two classics.

The 29-year-old singer and actress took to her Instagram stories yesterday to put on a little lip sync rendition of her two fan-favorite hits. Celebrity makeup artist Allan Avendaño (best known on Insta as @allanface) was recording Vanessa, as she danced and mouthed the words to her throwback tunes. The lyrics of “Come Back To Me” say it best: “Ya’ll need to get ready to hear the unbelievable, indescribable, Vanessa Hudgens. Baby V!”

Let us never forget about the fact that V’s longtime boyfriend of the past, the one and only Zac Efron, starred in the “Say OK” music video. Ugh, what a time to be alive. However, now we’re living in a world where the 30-year-old skipped the televised 10-year HSM reunion – something fans are still mad about, as it’s speculated he didn’t want to reunite with his ex on TV like that. Fair, but like, it broke fans’ hearts.

Vanessa really seems to be embracing the nostalgia lately because she recently revealed that she has an upcoming video coming out that will be all about the throwback vibes. While she didn’t reveal specifics, she did suggest that it would make fans freak out. So one can assume there will be a nod at HSM. She told Bustle, “The fans are going to freak out over the music video because it’s very nostalgic. I mean, one can jump to conclusions.”

But wait a minute – V isn’t the only one throwing it back with the 2006 tracks. Selena Gomez recently filmed herself jamming to another former Disney darling’s music. The 26-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place alum was rocking out to Ashley Tisdale‘s 2006 song “Be Good To Me.”

While this song was from Ashley’s debut album, Headstrong, the 33-year-old is about to make her return with another album after nearly a decade-long hiatus from music.

What did we do to deserve these fabulous throwback moments? What a treat!
