If you are not already totally hooked on 13 Reasons Why, then you must not have seen it. It seems as though everyone who has watched the Netflix drama binged it immediately and is now eagerly awaiting Season 2. The teen series, which was executive produced by the one and only Selena Gomez and her mother Mandy Teefey, can be streamed anytime on Netflix – and let us just say, you better hurry up before the second batch of episodes comes out. Filming for the second season of 13 Reasons Why is happening now, despite the fact that they did recently have to temporarily shut down production due to the deadly wildfires in Northern California. Although the book and show are based in the fictional town of Crestmont in an unnamed state, the filming locations include the Northern Californian towns of Vallejo, Benicia, San Rafael, Crockett and Sebastopol.

The high school in the show, called Liberty High, is actually Analy High School in Sebastopol, California in real life. This is where the exterior shots and some of the indoor scenes took place. Some scenes (like the school dance, for example) were shot at a studio.

Anyone who has watched the shows knows Monet's – you know, the coffee shop where the kids are always meeting to chat? This is located at a building in Vallejo, California, which they designed to be the iconic cafe.

As for Clay's house – well, that is actually a pretty funny story. Google Maps legit captured Dylan Minnette at 231 Bayview Street in San Rafael while filming. Pretty epic.
