On Monday, August 17, Eden The Doll — whose real name is Eden Estrada — took to Instagram Stories and posted video footage of an attack that she and her three friends experienced in Los Angeles. The YouTuber explained to her 339K followers that she was “robbed, attacked and jumped in Hollywood,” and obtained the footage after one of her alleged attackers posted the entire thing to his since-deleted Instagram account.

“I am alive and OK and will update everyone tomorrow,” Eden wrote in one Instagram Stories post. “I am very lucky, but my friends [Jaslene Whiterose] and [Joslyn Flawless] are really hurt.”

According to the videos she shared, which have been screenrecorded and shared online, Eden said the altercation started after one of the alleged attackers tried to steal her phone. They then proceeded to throw rocks at her and her friends. When the three women tried to run away, they were chased down the street, according to Eden’s account.

“HE MOCKED US, sexualized and instigated THE ENTIRE attack. Him and his friends stole from us. Beat us. Laughed at us. Humiliated us. AND had the nerve to POST IT,” she alleged on social media.

In the other clips Eden shared from the attack, a group of men could be seen chasing her and her friends. During one video, her friend Joslyn’s purse was stolen and a “scooter” was allegedly thrown at Jaslene. After Eden said she gave the men all her money to get her cell phone back, one of them “bashed Jaslene’s head open.”

“She completely passed out on me,” Eden wrote. Then in another video, she added, “That same man held Joslyn at knifepoint and made her take her shoes off, stole her bracelets and threatened to kill her.”

Following the attack, she called an ambulance and explained that incidents like this are a reality for many trans women.

“People preach Black Lives Matter and want equality for all but this is how they treat BLACK TRANS WOMEN. If their lives don’t matter then none of ours do!” she said. Then, in another post, she wrote, “Women like me get murdered on the f**king daily. I recognize my privilege. I know how lucky I am. But what about those who aren’t?”

She concluded by begging followers to find all the alleged attackers’ names and to contact the LAPD.
