One of YouTube’s biggest stars, PewDiePie — whose real name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg — had a lot to say to online critics who were judging him for being rich. In his most recent vlog, the 29-year-old Swedish internet star clapped back at haters, saying that he felt “sad” for those who think money solves the world’s problems.

For those who missed it, a recent social experiment called “Do All Millionaires Think the Same?” has gone viral on the video sharing site. During the video, a group of millionaires are put together and answer a series of questions about their wealth to see if they have the same mindset. PewDiePie decided to post his reaction to the questions after the millionaire weres asked if they had ever been judged for the amount of money they had.

“It just makes me sad for other people… people look at me and they’re like, ‘Oh, he doesn’t have any problems because he has money,’” he explained. “So many people share the idea that money solves all your problems. I know I talk about this a lot and every time, everyone gets mad at me. I just feel bad for people that have that mindset, because I know for a fact it isn’t true. Stop thinking money solves all your problems because it doesn’t, it just doesn’t.”

The internet star then got super real about his past struggles in life and shared that, although, having money has significantly improved his lifestyle, he’s just as happy as when he started posting videos to YouTube.

“Sometimes, I look back on the times when I was just starting out with YouTube, and I was just making enough to pay my rent each month,” he said. “That’s the kind of time I look back as the most happiest, when me and Marzia [Bisognin] were in Sweden. We didn’t have a lot of money. It wasn’t easy, but we were equally happy then.”
