Zayn Malik has revealed that one of his close family friends is having some serious healthy complications. His mother Trisha Malik's best friend Ayesha Butt is currently in the late stages of cancer and she created a GoFundMe account asking people for financial help to cover her medical treatments.
"I vowed from day one that I would NOT let this disease get me down. Together we can show lots of other patients that are in their late stages of cancer, that there are other treatment options that give good quality, extended life and I've seen good results that have been proven," she wrote in the message that she does not want people to feel sorry for her and revealing she was a single mother to a 15-year-old girl.
The singer took to Twitter to ask his fans for help and sharing the link to the donation page with has a goal of about $130,000 and has already reached $16,000, but instead, he ended up getting heavily criticized by some of his followers.
"This is my Mums best friend. Please help in any way possible 🙏🏽," he wrote.

Some fans went back and forth arguing about why Zayn could not just donate the money himself since he is a famous singer and is reportedly worth about $40 million. Others defended him saying that he did not have that much disposable money since he was signed to a deal with X Factor and had to share his profit with the other four guys from One Direction.
Whether or not Zayn has donated to this cause is unknown, but sharing the link with his millions of followers is surely going to be a huge help to Ayesha's cause as some fans have already been donating.
We wish Ayesha a speedy recovery and hope that she is able to reach her goal to pay for her medical expenses.
