WOAH‘Naked Brothers Band’ Star Alex Wolff Lands Role in ‘Patriots Day’

Alex Wolff, who you may remember from your Nickelodeon throwback fave, Naked Brothers Band, is starring in a new movie — and his role is major. The actor is playing Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was the younger of the Boston Marathon Bombers.

It's a pretty crazy casting decision, and marks a departure into more serious roles for the actor. Alex will be starring alongside Themo Melikidze, who is playing his older brother in the movie.

Nat still performs with his younger brother, Alex. He also has a flourishing acting career, and recently starred in the live-action Death Note. Over the years, he's appeared in two John Green movies: The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns. Currently, the actor is filming Mortal, a fantasy adventure movie. He plays the lead character, a young man who discovers he has supernatural powers based on Norwegian mythology.

Alex still acts and sings. He plays Spencer in the upcoming Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle remake and just wrapped up the movie Stella's Last Weekend with his older brother. He still performs with Nat, and they've released more mature songs like "Where I'm Goin'" and "Rock Star."
