Congratulations Jordan Pruitt! The former Disney star just announced that she’s expecting her first child with her husband, Brian Fuente, and fans couldn’t be more excited for them!

The 28-year-old shared the exciting news exclusively to Fox News. She told them that “after months of trying,” she “couldn’t be happier about her bundle of joy.” She also called her pregnancy “a light in all the darkness,” and said that she and her husband are “excited and thankful” for their blessing of life.

“What I’m looking forward to most is being able to give my child the upmost love, raise them in an open and honest environment, and make our own family traditions with our little one!” the singer gushed.

For those who forgot, Jordan and Brian first met when they were both contestants on The Voice. They tied the knot in May 2015 during an intimate ceremony in Nashville, TN, and it seriously looked like a fairytale wedding.

“Never been so happy in my entire life. Never knew this kind of happiness existed until I met my future husband. He accepts my faults, loves my flaws and loves me exactly how I am. Thank you God for such an awesome man to spend forever with, I love you @brianfuente,” Jordan wrote on Instagram at the time in a now-deleted post.

The “Jump to the Rhythm” songstress’ joyous announcement comes just months after she filed a lawsuit accusing her former manager, Keith Thomas, of sexually abusing her. She also sued her former record label, Hollywood Records, and its parent company, the Walt Disney Co., alleging that they failed to prevent the abuse.

She told Fox of the pending lawsuit, “I will, and will always continue to be the voice for those who aren’t able to speak. I want to be the voice for those who have never been given the chance for justice. And holding others accountable is key when it comes to paving the way for change to happen. I won’t stop fighting for what is right until I, and so many others, get the justice that we deserve as women. Doing what is right will never be wrong.”

The brunette beauty added that she hopes her lawsuit “comes to a close this year,” and that she’s “looking forward to putting that chapter of my life behind me forever.”
