Perrie Edwards undoubtedly opened up in Little Mix's new book Our World and it looks like her breakup with Zayn Malik affected her in more ways than just emotionally. Since the pair lived together, the singer is now revealing that she had no place to stay after they split. How awful!
“After I split with my partner, out of the blue, I had nowhere to go, which was incredibly stressful,” Perrie wrote.
“For a while I had no idea what to do. I thought about renting but I’ve got dogs and cats, so that was no good. At the time we were promoting "Black Magic." and while I was in America, things really hit me and I panicked. I realized I was homeless. I was crying every day, dreading coming back.”
“I told [my mom] I was stressed because I didn’t know what I should do about where to live once I got back to England. She arranged for me to stay in [Modest! Management owner Richard Griffiths'] guest cottage for as long as I needed, until I got on my feet again. Thank God for him. I put all my stuff in storage, took my dogs and more or less lived out of a suitcase for a good month and a half.”
Wow. We had no idea this happened to Perrie. It looks like she lost more than a fiancee during this whole ordeal and are glad she came out stronger after this. No one deserves to feel like they don't have a place to stay, and hope she never feels this sort of uncertainty ever again.
