It’s time to celebrate because Carlos PenaVega and his wife Alexa have just announced that they’re expecting another baby! That’s right, just over two years after the birth of their son Ocean, the Big Time Rush star and his wife are preparing for their second child.
“It’s HAPPENING… AGAIN! WE’RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!!” Carlos shared on Instagram on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in an emotional post. “2019 another PenaVega is joining the family! This year we will officially be able to say we have ‘kids!’ Our minds are blown and we are beyond blessed and excited for our growing family!!! Let the journey begin!!!”
The Spy Kids actress also took to Instagram to gush over the news. “Holy Moly!!! Guys!!! We are having another baby!!!!” she wrote. “Do we wake Ocean up and tell him??!! Beyond blessed and excited to continue growing this family!!! Get ready for a whole new set of adventures!!!”
And it turns out, they did wake up the little guy to share the news because Carlos then posted an adorable clip of the little guy running into the room with the pregnancy test. “Ocean?” the 29-year-old said to his son in the sweet video. “Are you going to be a big brother?” Awww, our hearts are bursting!
As J-14 readers know, the couple got married back in January of 2014, and they welcomed Ocean two years later, in December of 2016. Carlos and Alexa are honestly one of our favorite couples, especially because they’re constantly gushing over each other on social media and sharing the cutest photos and videos together ever.
Ugh, they’re honestly goals. Naturally, the couple’s family and friends are just as excited as we are about the news. And some left their congratulations for the couple under their announcement — including some of Carlos’ former BTR members. Um, we may or may not be crying.
“Congrats guys so excited for you,” James Maslow wrote.
“Can’t wait! So happy everyone knows now!!” Kendall Schmidt added. Wow, they’re really bringing back all the feels. BRB, going to binge old episodes of Big Time Rush. Congrats Carlos!
