Some people are not happy that the Pussycat Dolls reunited! On Saturday, November 30, the now five-piece girl group — member Melody Thornton chose not to return — took the X Factor: Celebrity stage for their first live performance in over nine years. After they took the stage, the artists received major backlash from viewers who complained their sheer bodysuits and patent-leather look were inappropriate for kids who may be watching.

“The outfits the [Pussycat Dolls] are wearing on [X Factor: Celebrity] are totally inappropriate for 8:15 p.m. on a family show,” one viewer wrote on Twitter. “Not good role models for girls. You don’t have to take your clothes to be successful.”

For those who missed it, the group split back in 2010 to pursue solo careers. Now, Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar are back and better than ever!

The ladies totally stole the show with a medley of their biggest hit songs, like “Buttons,” “When I Grow Up,” and “Don’t Cha,” and even surprised fans with their latest and greatest single “React.” But the new song didn’t stop the hundreds of complaints about their “racy” performance.

According to reports, Ofcom — UK’s Office of Communications — is in the process of deciding whether or not to launch a full investigation against the Pussycat Dolls after they received 419 complaints about the performance

“We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate,” Ofcom said.

As fans know, their performance came just days after the group officially announced their reunion tour in and Instagram post on Thursday, November 28. The first leg includes nine shows in UK and Ireland with more dates coming soon.

Despite the seemingly negative reactions from some X Factor watchers, fans of the group took to Twitter and expressed their excitement about band’s reunion.

“OMG [Pussycat Dolls] on X Factor gave me CHILLS,” one fan wrote with another one adding, “I think I already watched [Pussycat Dolls] X Factor performance 10 times! They smashed it!!”

From the look of it, backlash from the performance didn’t get the girls down! Band member Nicole took to Instagram after they took the stage with a clip from the show.

“Wasn’t expecting that… were you,” she captioned the video referring to the group’s reunion.
