Celebs are ditching Facebook and Twitter this week. But don't worry, it won't last forever — they're doing it for charity!

Stars like Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Seacrest, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, and Alicia Keys will all be signing off from the digital world on Wednesday, December 1, in an event called The Digital Life Sacrifice.
The mass sign-off is to raise awareness for World AIDS Day (December 1) and money for Keep a Child Alive, a charity that Alicia Keys is the global ambassador for. Celebs will log back on to their Facebook and Twitter account when the charity raises $1 million through text donations. The money will help families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.

Do you think it's a good idea for celebs to sign offline for charity? Will you donate?
