Congratulations are in order for Lauren Conrad and her husband William Tell because they just announced they’re expecting their second baby! The star of The Hills shared the exciting news to her Instagram on April 2, 2019, and we couldn’t be more excited for her!
“It’s been hard to keep this one to myself!” she gushed alongside a sweet snap of her cradling her baby bump. “Very excited to share that our family will be getting a little bigger this year.”
As fans know, Lauren and William’s love story is truly a magical one. But how did they meet, you ask? Well, it turns out, they actually met for the first time all the way back when they were in high school! William, who’s an entertainment lawyer now, was a singer and guitarist for the band Something Corporate back then.
“I met my husband when I was 16 and sitting onstage at one of his concerts,” the blonde beauty explained in a blog post.
It wasn’t until 10 years later that they started dating. The 33-year-old fashion designer explained in the same blog post that they were actually set up on a blind date on Valentine’s Day in 2012, thanks to unnamed mutual friends. And one year later, they got engaged.
“It’s the first time I’m with someone and I’m not explaining things,” the reality star gushed to Marie Claire back in 2013. “He also has experience in the entertainment industry, so he understands a lot of things that people don’t always get.”
The pair wed on September 13, 2014, and they welcomed a son, Liam James Tell, in 2017. And although they’re as happy as could be, at first Lauren wasn’t too sure she wanted to have kids.
“In my early 20s I was open to having them or not having them. But after meeting William, I changed my mind,” she told People Magazine after the birth of their son. “I knew I wanted to have a family with him. But I didn’t want to do it right away. I’m crazy about Liam, but I never really got baby fever. We wanted to enjoy being married and to really be in the right space. We took our time, so it was something to look forward to.”
We are seriously so happy for the couple.
