Everyone was pretty bummed after Pretty Little Liars came to an end back in 2017. The show was one of our favorites, and after seven years of dramatic twists and turns, it was hard to see it go. That’s why fans practically lost it when the news hit the web that Freeform was making a spinoff show for it! Lucky for us, the cast of the new show, called Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, has shared a ton of pics from the set. We’ve gone ahead and rounded up all the behind-the-scenes photos for you, and boy, does it look epic.
So what will it be about, you ask? The storyline will be based off the book written by Sara Shepard, the author of the original Pretty Little Liars books. And if that’s not promising enough, the series will also be directed by PLL showrunner Marlene King! Wow, we seriously cannot wait.
And in a statement about the show, Freeform said: “Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be. The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.”
That sounds pretty awesome, if you ask us. And to make it even better, the show will star two of the OG PLL girls! That’s right, Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish are reprising their roles of Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal for the new series, and we cannot wait.
