High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend Austin Butler have been going strong for a few years now and they are super adorable together. However, this is the first time she's been seen with another man and, to be honest, we don't love it.
Before everyone starts freaking out, let's clarify what we really mean here. Vanessa got together with music artist Shawn Hook and collaborated for the duet of a lifetime. In their track, "Reminding Me," the lyrics are super sensual and the music video is no different. Shawn shows off his abs while Vanessa seductively rolls around. OKAY, VANESSA – we see you.
Obviously, this is all acting. But, Vanessa and Shawn do a pretty good job of convincing the world that they really do have some chemistry between them. They are cozying up to each other and their faces get close enough to kiss.
Yes, we're sweating over here. Shawn was super happy about the collaboration, obviously and gave the video lots of promo on social media. He posted a seriously FIRE photo of him and Vanessa on Instagram with the caption, "My new single #RemindingMe featuring @vanessahudgens is out NOW! (Link in bio)."
Vanessa posted about the video as well. She wrote, "He keeps #RemindingMe… @Shawn_Hook."
Austin has yet to comment, but these two always support each other in everything that they do, no matter if it is professional or personal. We have a feeling he really excited for his girl. Fans have seen Vanessa belt out some notes recently with her High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale, but that was just for fun.
This is definitely much more intense and we're so happy for her. Ever since her High School Musical days, fans have loved her voice. Now, they're getting more of it and they aren't complaining. The song is absolutely incredible and it's great that she was able to be a part of such a cool project.
Our fingers are crossed that Vanessa decides to tackle more of this in the near future!
