Madison Beer has been in the music industry for quite sometime now and the 18-year-old also just so happens to have a bit of high-profile relationship dating singer Jack Gilinsky from the duo Jack and Jack. She's obviously learned a lot about herself, her career and what she wants out of her relationships essentially growing up in the public eye. And in case you were wondering why she suddenly seems more private when her personal life, well that's just something she wants everyone to get used to.
"I don't want anything to go wrong and then have to be like deleting everything and making a big deal and unfollowing each other. I would rather just keep my relationship my relationship," Madison explained in an interview with The Zach Sang Show.
"And everyone knows we're still together, we still go out together, we hang out, we're all good. I don't nee to publicize my relationship to get likes on Instagram, it's not necessary. I don't have to prove anything. Do what you want to do and don't feel pressure to do what other people want."
So Madison simply wants to keep her personal romance as private as she possibly can. She's had a front row seat over the years to what it's like when your relationship becomes bigger than you and starts to over-shine anything you do. Yes, we're referring to the Jelena saga. Madison is signed with Justin Bieber himself and she considers both the Biebs and Selena Gomez to be friends, so probably learned a thing or two from what they went through. Oh and in case you were wondering if her and Jack are actually ~legit~, she admitted that the concept of dating another celebrity just to advance her career is something that never crossed her mind.
"Oh my god, no never. I just almost died [thinking about that]. No, not ever, ever, ever, ever, ever. Like I'm signed with Justin, there's not much more famous than him, like if I was going [to date someone for publicity] it would've happened if that was the case. First of all, he's like big brother [so] never, but I would never in a million years use anyone and people think that goes on a lot in Hollywood," she said.
So for real, Madison probably could've had a "fake" relationship with the Biebs to get more attention, but of course this is something neither of them ever wanted or would've done. Madison is doing just fine making a name for herself with her music thank you very much! And she didn't hold back when it came to voicing her opinion about Selena's relationship with The Weeknd. She's just as much of a shipper as the rest of us and insists that Abelena is 100% the real deal.
"People think Selena and The Weeknd are dating for publicity and that's not how things works. These are real human beings. They don't just date to get more famous. They're already the most famous artists! And that's why again, I don't want to publicize stuff because it's no one's business," Madison said. "But good for people who do share. I did it for a long time, Selena and The Weeknd are, it's fine. They're so cute, I'm really happy for them. I think she's in really good place and I think they're really happy together and it bums me when people say oh they're for publicity."
So everyone is truly happy, in love and being their authentic selves. Shout-out to Madison for always keeping it real.
