Miley Cyrus is not a big fan of Taylor Swift, and she's letting it show, beyond sticking it to the Keds model and releasing a free album! In fact, the "Wrecking Ball" singer told the New York Times that while her fellow pop star may be gathering a cadre of “musicians, actresses, models, entrepreneurs," she's not interested in forming a girl squad.
“I’m not trying to be in the squad. None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives, because I’m inspired by them," she said.
While it's great that Miley has a core group of friends that she loves, the girls from Taylor's group are also "real people." We do appreciate that the VMAs host is trying to show people that they don't need to be in a "squad," but there's also nothing wrong with hanging out with musicians, actresses, models, and entrepreneurs either.
