Dove Cameron has been a trending topic since the premiere of Hairspray Live! last night. Other singers like Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson are already pretty well known for their vocal and acting talents, but it is the Disney Channel star who stole the show. For people who are not Liv & Maddie or Descendants fans, this might be the first time they see her acting and some of the tweets shared during the show are truly fantastic.
Dove starred as the iconic character Amber, and she truly knocked it out of the park and had everyone talking. Her fans finally saw this as a moment of recognition for their favorite star, and knew deep down that this moment when the world opened their eyes to her would come eventually.
