Anna Kendrick and Zac Efron starred in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and have been inseparable ever since. So much so that the actress even wrote about the actor in her new book Scrappy Little Nobody, but what she said about him has people scratching their heads in confusion.

In the book, she talks about her personal life but also discusses what it was like working with some of Hollywood's hottest leading men and of course the High School Musical star is mentioned, comparing him to one of the worst serial killers in history Charles Manson.

"I'm morbidly interested in Charles Manson. I've always wondered what is it about Manson that was so charismatic? Then I met Zac and was like, 'Oh, there it is,'" she says in the book.

"I'm glad [Zac] hasn't asked me or anyone else to murder someone for him because I probably would," referencing Manson's story in which he led his followers to murder people in his name.

Kind of morbid, no? The actress is seemingly trying to say that Zac is so charming and charismatic that he could persuade anyone to do just about anything he wanted, including murder.

Yikes. We can assume the star was trying to be humorous with this comparison and we hope that the actor nor anyone else takes this seriously.
