Aside from being a talented actor and musician, fans know that Ansel Elgort’s other favorite pastime is being one of BTS’ biggest fan boys – like pretty much everyone is these days. He’s proven and declared his love for the boys numerous times, and now the Fault In Our Stars actor is showing that world that he’s just more than just a super fan.
Over the weekend Ansel dropped his latest single “Supernova” which he’s been heavily promoting on all his social media feeds. In the middle of all the promotion, the actor did sneak in one surprise for his fans and for those obsessed with BTS. In a very short clip shared on Twitter, the Insurgent star pretty much told the world that he ran his new music by RM and V before the rest of the world. The three were rocking out to the track months before it dropped in a clip that was captioned, “When I showed Tae and RM an early version of Supernova in Seoul this summer ? it’s finally out now！”

LOL. Okay, so how awesome is it that Ansel wanted to run his music by two of the biggest musicians in the industry right now? Obviously it was a smash because RM and V were totally into the track. This hangout session also happened a while ago, but it’s just the latest chapter in Ansel and the BTS boys bromance. During the 2017 American Music Awards, their friendship was on full display in a hilarious picture the Divergent actor shared on Instagram.
Clearly we should expect more of Ansel and the BTS boys hanging out, because it seems to us like this is just the beginning. Who knows, maybe a music collaboration between them all could possibly be brewing. How cool would that be?
