CNCO Shares Their Craziest Fan Encounters

The CNCO fandom doesn’t mess around. But that comes by no surprise, considering the fact that the boy band gives their fans a lot to be proud of. They’ve got two albums, over 27 million views and counting on their “Se Vuelve Loca” music video, multiple Billboard Latin Music Awards, a Teen Choice Award – the list goes on and on. It goes without saying that with this kind of success comes a huge fandom, and those who stan CNCO go hard. Trust us, we have proof.

We caught up with Joel Pimentel, Erick Brian Colón, Richard Camacho, Christopher Vélez, and Zabdiel de Jesús – and they shared stories of their most unbelievable run-ins they’ve had with fans. Check out the wildest fan encounters the boys of CNCO shared exclusively with J-14.

Fans saw them in their underwear.

“I’ll start with one that happened in Mexico,” Joel dishes exlusively to J-14. “So we finished this concert. We went back to our rooms like all sweaty, we took off all our clothes because we have to change back into our normal clothes. And then, out of nowhere, Zabdiel hears his name, a whisper from somewhere. So he goes, ‘Yo Joel, do you hear that? Did you do that?'”
But it wasn’t Joel messing with him – someone was actually whispering their names…
“He looks up at the top of the vent, and then we start seeing girls recording from the vent. So we were like, what the heck,” the singer continues. “Afterwards, our personal manager got them down and told them to erase the videos of us in our clothes and yeah. But we took a photo with them afterwards. It was pretty crazy.”

Richard got serenaded in the middle of the night.

Richard tells us, “I believe we were in Ecuador. A few fans were in the hotel. There were fans in the hotel, and it was like 2 – 3 in the morning. It was getting super late, and we were about to go to sleep or whatever. We were in our rooms, and all of a sudden I hear in like in front of my door, I hear a little girl singing one of our songs. We were like, yo this has been going on for a while, but I didn’t know it was a little girl or an adult with a little voice. So I looked through the thing, and I didn’t see her. I opened the door, and it was a little small girl singing our song, and her family was on the side – it was like the cutest voice that I heard. It was like 3 in the morning, and super angelic too.”
Okay, now that just made our hearts flutter.

Fans waited outsite their hotel door.

“I remember when we [were] in Times Square, we did a performance for New Years. And I remember that time we shared rooms. Now we don’t – at that time, we did. I remember Christopher and me being in the room, and we hear something in the door,” Zabdiel dishes to J-14. “We see like a little hole in the door – we see 10 fans in the hotel for us.”
Christopher chimes in, “It was crazy too because it was like a week after winning the competition. It as like something that crazy happened right away.”
Now those are some dedicated fans, if we do say so ourselves!
