Summary

J-14’s Executive Editor Emily Brozyna is a digital content creator with experience in social media, writing and video for millennial and Gen Z audiences. When she’s not at J-14 Magazine’s New York City office, you can find her in Hoboken, New Jersey, drinking wine, ordering Pad Thai, spending way too much time on her makeup and catching up on her shows (and YouTube videos).

Work or writing background leading to expertise

Along with writing, editing and managing J-14’s social media accounts, Emily also spends time in the studio and on the red carpet interviewing your favorite stars.

Emily got her start in the industry in 2015 with a summer internship at J-14, where her first celebrity interview was with Dylan Minnette (long before he went on to star in 13 Reasons Why). Some of her other notable celebrity interviews include: Grammy winner Alessia Cara, Shark Tank personality Barbara Corcoran, ’90s Nickelodeon icon Kel Mitchell, Disney Channel star Dove Cameron, Dancing With the Stars champion Jordan Fisher and more.

As a reformed fangirl who grew up watching Nickelodeon and Disney Channel, it comes by no surprise that her two career highlights were getting slimed and beating Monique Coleman in High School Musical trivia!

Education

Emily graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2016 with a B.A. in broadcast journalism and a minor in international studies.
