A huge congratulations is in order for Dan + Shay member Shay Mooney who just welcomed his first child into the world with his fiancee Hannah Billingsley!
They announced in the fall that they were expecting and actually revealed the sex of their baby back at the end of December.
Shay posted this photo of Hannah looking absolutely radiant with the caption, "I am beyond blessed. I can't believe I get to call this beautiful woman mine. The last year has been the best of my life. @hannah.billingsley I love you like crazy and you're gonna be the best mom in the whole world. I pray that our baby is just like you…if they're anything like me, we got a long road ahead. ? I don't know how good of a dad I'll be, but I have the best one in the world to help me along. All that being said…we can't wait to meet you Asher James. I already love you more than I thought I was capable of. Seeya soon little man."
Aww! These two are beyond adorable. They've documented every step of Hannah's pregnancy right up until Asher made his big debut. There's no telling how long Hannah was actually in labor for, but just 23 hours ago Shay posted a photo letting his fans know that it was go time! He wrote, "The time is nigh. #AsherJames
@hannah.billingsley."
FINALLY they are a family of three and we couldn't be happier for them! Hannah and Shay look completely head over heels as they stare at their newborn son. Hopefully, they share just as much with their fans now that Asher is here safely as they did while Hannah was still pregnant. We can't help but wonder if he's going to take after his daddy and dive into musical world as well.
Until then, we'll just have to ogle over his cuteness. In the most perfect message ever, Shay wrote, "It's hard to describe the love you feel for the first time when you hold your child. I will never be the same. Asher James, I promise to be the father you deserve. And Hannah, I promise to be the husband you want and need. I love you both so much. You've given me everything I never knew I needed. Welcome to the world Asher James Mooney. 1/24/2017."
