Former Disney Channel star Demi Lovato has gotten super candid in a new interview about her early days with Disney and it's actually really sad. The "Confident" singer was never always as comfortable in her own skin as she is today and it seems like the Disney Channel could have possibly played a role in her insecurities.
She said, "I signed with Disney Channel when I got Camp Rock, and I had a gap between my two front teeth,” she shares. “They were like, ‘Would you be willing to fix it?’; I wish today that I hadn’t, because my gap was really cute."
Aw! It's terrible that even as something as simple as a small gap would need to be fixed in order to live up to a certain standard of beauty in the biz. Demi actually said that this was the worst beauty advice she's ever gotten! We're just glad she loves who she is now!
