Demi Lovato checked into a rehab facility after a dangerous drug overdose three months ago. She has been pretty MIA since then, being spotted just once in a Starbucks near the rehabilitation center she was reportedly staying at in Utah. But now, it looks like the 26-year-old is back in LA and doing better than ever! The “Heart Attack” singer was spotted leaving Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills on Saturday night, and she looked strong and confident.

Could the reason behind her radiating with happiness be that she’s met a new man? According to reports, the ex-Disney star was holding hands with clothing designer, Henry Levy, during the dinner. “She and a guy were having a great time inside the super expensive sushi joint, happy, smiling and laughing through dinner,” a witness told the report.

We are so happy to see Demi doing great, after the terrifying near death experience last August, which her mom described in an interview with Newsmax TV at the time.

“I got a phone call from Demi’s assistant at the time, Kelsey. I answered the phone and Kelsey was rambling like she had obviously been through something terrible, and she said, ‘I need to tell you what’s going on … you’re going to see a report come out.’ I stopped her and said, ‘Kelsey, just tell me what’s going on.’ The next words that came out of her mouth were words… that are so difficult to hear as a parent,” Demi’s mother recalled. “She said Demi overdosed. So I was in shock, I didn’t know what to say. It was something I never, ever expected to hear as a parent about any of my kids. I said, ‘Is she OK?’ And she stopped for a second and she said, ‘She’s conscious, but she’s not talking.’ I knew at that point that we were in trouble.”

Her sister, Madison De La Garza, also opened up about the scary incident. She told Popcorn Talk, “Demi’s doing, she’s doing really well. She’s working really hard on her sobriety and we’re all so incredibly proud of her… It’s been crazy for our family. It’s been a lot. Um but we’ve been through a lot together and every single time, I mean if you read my mom’s book you would know… Every time we go through something, we always come out on the other side a hundred times stronger than before. And so we’ve just been um we’ve been so thankful for everything. For the little things.”

Now that the star is happy and healthy again, here’s to hoping she starts working again soon since everyone misses her up on stage.
