When One Direction was in Australia, rumors started swirling that Niall Horan was secretly dating their opening act, Samantha Jade. But in a new interview with Telegraph, she says the reports are totally false.
“Niall and I are good friends. It was a great tour…it was unbelievable how big it was. We had such a great time," she said.

Still, this doesn't mean that he's not dating a girl from Australia! The singer has recently been linked to Melissa Anne Whitelaw, so we don't really know his relationship status at the moment. But now, we can cross Samantha off the list — there's nothing romantic going on between them.
Since the only time we saw photos of them together was when she was with the entire band, we didn't really believe the rumors anyway!
