Former Disney Channel star Hilary Duff is notorious for keeping her personal life on the down low whenever she can. However recently, she didn't keep anything in.
From her ex-husband Mike Comrie to her dating habits, Hilary gave fans the details about her love life and why it's not necessary to always have a man by her side. The interview is inspiring and motivating for girls who feel like having a boyfriend is all you need to be happy. Hilary has been in the spotlight most of her adult life starting on Disney Channel at the raw age of 17.
Now, over 10 years later, Hilary seems to have a grasp on love and her professional life.
She said, "I’ve never been a good dater. I meet, like, one person a year that I’m maybe attracted to … I never want to be that girl who’s desperate to find a mate."
Hilary was recently linked to Jason Walsh who she was together with for several months. The pair spent Halloween together, went on a tropical vacation and even walked a red carpet hand-in-hand. But, it fizzled out and it seems like, according to Hilz, this could have been another person she was maybe attracted to.
It's obvious that she has other things to focus on. She's an amazing mommy to her son Luca who she shares and co-parents with her ex Mike. So what did she have to say about that situation? Nothing but good things!
The "Come Clean" singer said, "Mike’s amazing … We’re so ingrained in each other’s lives. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to coparent with. We are really good friends and care a lot about each other." Aww!
Not only does she seem to have that part of her life in order but also the professional side of things. She's currently starring on the hit television show, Younger. Aside from everything she has accomplished so far, Hilary admitted that there are a few things she's looking forward to in the coming year.
She said, " think I’m a pretty confident person. I’ve had a career for a long time, but I’ve put a lot of unnecessary pressure on myself as a woman, a businessperson, an actress. I’m like, 'Am I doing enough?; Everyone I’ve talked to says you come into your own in your 30s. You feel more secure. I’m looking forward to that."
We have a feeling 2017 is going to be her year – with or without a guy in her life!
