It's been a long time coming but Harry Styles is finally ready to grace the world with his beautiful voice after working on other projects for the past year since One Direction has been on hiatus. The British heartthrob has been hard at work acting in the soon to be released movie Dunkirk as well as getting a handle on his entire solo album.
There were rumors that Hazza would release his first solo single on April 7th. Now, that it's basically confirmed, fans couldn't stop wondering when he would actually perform this track live. Well, it seems like they don't have to wait very long. Saturday Night Live has confirmed on their Twitter account that Harry will take the stage as a musical guest on April 15th – just eight days after he will supposedly drop the single.
This is so exciting! Saturday Night Live tweeted, "Excited to announce @jimmyfallon and @Harry_Styles will be in Studio 8H on April 15! #FallonStylesSNL."
Jimmy Fallon also tweeted out the news with the message, "So excited!!! A young heartthrob and Harry Styles will be on SNL together April 15th! #WhenHarryMetJimmy #FallonStylesSNL."
Harry has been gearing up for the release date of his first solo track for awhile now. Not only did he release a promo video for the whole thing but he's also changing up the layout of his Twitter page and Instagram feed. For the past couple of days, Harry has put up photos of just a white background on Instagram. Some reports believe that this is a symbolic message from the One Direction crooner. It may, in fact, represent a new beginning for Harry – starting over in this different realm.
There's no telling if the track will be slow or upbeat but the world is waiting patiently for its arrival. Harry has always been incredible when he sings live so his performance on Saturday Night Live will definitely be something Directioners won't want to miss!
It's safe to say that Harry's solo musical career is about the skyrocket off of the ground. Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan have already tried their hand at the solo thing and they are doing an incredible job. Both of their tracks are super meaningful and really hit close to home. The only thing left to wonder is what Harry's song will be about. Will he get really sentimental with it or rock out to something super fresh that no one has ever heard from him before?
Only time will tell! Will YOU watch his solo debut performance?
Harry has yet to public comment on the release date of the song or his performance on Saturday Night Live.
